LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending outgoing President Dr. Janine D. Kelly
upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by the East
Meadow Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
outgoing President Dr. Janine D. Kelly upon the occasion of her desig-
nation for special recognition by the East Meadow Chamber of Commerce to
be celebrated at its 55th Annual Installation of Officers and Directors,
on Friday, January 29, 2010, at Fox Hollow, Woodbury, New York; and
WHEREAS, Though East Meadow businesses were not spared during a diffi-
cult economic situation, President Dr. Janine D. Kelly of Kelly Family
Chiropractic led an active Chamber of Commerce that continued its
successful programs and even added new initiatives; and
WHEREAS, Under the Presidency of Dr. Janine D. Kelly, members of the
East Meadow Chamber of Commerce visited local schools and taught the
students valuable skills for both business and life; in addition, the
members were instrumental sponsors or partners of prosperous fundraising
events such as Culinary Delights and the new Game Night; and
WHEREAS, Recognized as a pillar within her community, Dr. Janine D.
Kelly is a respected healthcare professional who has given not only of
her time and energies but also of her competence, intelligence and lead-
ership; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her service as President, Dr. Janine D. Kelly has
been called upon to contribute her time and talents to countless civic
and charitable endeavors and has always given of herself unstintingly;
and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Dr. Janine D. Kelly has displayed
throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend outgoing President Dr. Janine D. Kelly upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the East Meadow Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Dr. Janine D. Kelly.
