LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring SEFCU of Altamont upon the occasion of
its designation by the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce as the recipient
of its 2010 Town Beautification Best New Construction Award on June 10,
2010

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend business leaders of the State of New York whose accomplishments
contribute to the economic health and prosperity of the communities of
the Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
SEFCU of Altamont upon the occasion of its designation by the Guilder-
land Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of its 2010 Town Beautifica-
tion Best New Construction Award; and
WHEREAS, SEFCU of Altamont will be honored at the Guilderland Chamber
of Commerce's 38th Annual Dinner and Community Awards Ceremony, to be
held at the Albany Country Club on Thursday, June 10, 2010; and
WHEREAS, With the construction of a beautiful new building and the
opening of its Altamont Branch, the State Employees Federal Credit
Union, bringing all its banking and financial services to the community,
has greatly benefited the citizens and businesses of the Village of
Altamont and surrounding areas; and
WHEREAS, The growth and continued healthy development of the economy
of the communities of the State of New York are dependent on the
successful operation and commitment of businesses operating in the local
community; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is pleased to have this opportunity to
extend its highest commendation to SEFCU of Altamont and to wish it
continued success in all its endeavors; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor SEFCU of Altamont upon the occasion of its designation by the
Guilderland Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of its 2010 Town Beau-
tification Best New Construction Award on June 10, 2010; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to SEFCU of Altamont.
