LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Boris Zivotov for his service as Immedi-
ate Past President of the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and honor
those distinguished citizens of this great Empire State who have devoted
themselves to faithfully serving the best interests of their community
and the needs of its residents; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Boris Zivotov for his service as Immediate Past President of the Bay
Ridge Lawyers Association, to be celebrated at its 57th Annual Dinner
Dance on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Dyker Beach Golf Course in Brooklyn,
New York; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of City University of New York, Boris Zivotov went
on to attend Brooklyn Law School where he received his Juris Doctor in
June of 1994; throughout his legal career, he served as a litigation
associate for several law firms before opening his own firm in 1998,
Boris Zivotov, Esq., P.C.; and
WHEREAS, Boris Zivotov has been called upon to contribute his time and
talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always given
of himself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, As President of the Bay Ridge Lawyers Association, Boris
Zivotov served with intelligence and caring dedication, continuously
striving to effectively fulfill the duties of his position; and
WHEREAS, Sincerely loved and greatly respected by all those with whom
he served, Boris Zivotov will be remembered for his honesty, integrity,
keen sense of duty and ability to show a unique grasp of human problems
in his official acts; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Boris Zivotov for his service as Immediate Past President of the
Bay Ridge Lawyers Association, and to wish him continued success in all
his future endeavors; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Boris Zivotov.
