LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Mike Mickelson upon the occasion of
being honored by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT in its 2012 Men at Work
edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who distinguish themselves in their profession and
in service to their community merit the recognition and appreciation of
this Legislative Body and the people of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and fully in accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Mike Mickelson, Owner of M&L Masonry, Inc., which he founded in 1985,
upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT in its 2012 Men at Work edition; and
WHEREAS, Well-liked and highly respected in the community, Mike Mick-
elson is one of the three Mickelson brothers who prove hiring local
contractors yields extremely satisfied customers and is fittingly being
honored by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and
WHEREAS, Mike Mickelson enjoys creating something the homeowner will
enjoy and/or call home and working with his sons and brothers, Bob and
Ron; and
WHEREAS, Mike Mickelson is a member of Local 5 Bricklayers and Craft-
workers Union and, a generous and valued member of his Grahamsville
community, he helped with the building of the new Daniel Pierce Library
and is a sponsor of Mud Men, a local baseball team; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Lori, and their sons,
Mike and Chris, and Chris' wife, Kayla, all of whom are proud to be part
of his life and rejoice in his many accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have demonstrated a
long and sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in
their profession truly merit the recognition and appreciation of this
Legislative Body and the people of the State of New York; now, there-
fore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Mike Mickelson upon the occasion of being honored by the SULLI-
VAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT in its 2012 Men at Work edition; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Mike Mickelson.
