LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Deposit Depot upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the 2012 Business of the Year Award by the
Akron Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
trious individuals and institutions of the State of New York whose
purposeful endeavors serve to enhance the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend
Deposit Depot on the occasion of its designation as the recipient of the
2012 Business of the Year Award by the Akron Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Deposit Depot will be honored at the Akron Chamber of
Commerce's Annual Awards Dinner Dance to be held on Thursday, May 10,
2012, at The Newstead Fire Hall in Akron, New York; and
WHEREAS, Deposit Depot was selected for this most auspicious honor for
their ceaseless dedicated service to their community; and
WHEREAS, Deposit Depot has been an important facilitator of recycling
in the area, as a notable provider of job opportunities within its
community; and
WHEREAS, Moreover, Deposit Depot has been a dedicated supporter of
numerous local organizations including the Make a Wish Foundation, Akron
Cub Scouts, Relay for Life and Akron Elementary School; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when businesses
of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our attention, it
is appropriate to publicly proclaim and commend those individuals for
the edification and emulation of others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Deposit Depot on the occasion of its designation as the recipient
of the 2012 Business of the Year Award by the Akron Chamber of Commerce;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Deposit Depot.
