LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Mr. and Mrs. Frank Loguidice upon
the occasion of celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary

WHEREAS, Frank Loguidice and Hilda Marnell met and fell in love while
attending Syracuse Central High School; they went on to attend college
together at Syracuse University; and
WHEREAS, On October 2, 1948, Frank and Hilda were united in marriage
at St. Peter's Church in Syracuse, New York, with Father James McCloskey
officiating the ceremony; and
WHEREAS, The couple celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary with a
party held in their honor by their family at the Maplewood Inn in Liver-
pool, New York, on Sunday, October 6, 2013; and
WHEREAS, Standing as witness to the joyous occasion were Clementine
DeFrancisco, sister of the bride, Delores Marnell, sister of the bride,
Carol Keyes, friend of the bride, Augustine Loguidice, brother of the
groom, Frank Spina, friend of the bride and groom, and Russell Blando,
friend of the bride and groom; and
WHEREAS, Frank and Hilda Loguidice are the proud parents of three
grown children, Linda Loguidice McHerron, Marybeth Loguidice Dutter, and
Michael Loguidice, and the loving grandparents of 10 grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren; and
WHEREAS, For the past 65 years, Frank and Hilda Loguidice have demon-
strated a strong bond between the two of them, sharing a love for trav-
eling, gambling and spending time at church and with family and friends;
and
WHEREAS, Throughout their years together, Frank and Hilda Loguidice
also have shared a love for Syracuse University athletics, attending
many football and basketball games at the SU Carrier Dome; and
WHEREAS, More importantly, Frank and Hilda Loguidice have served as a
pillar of strength, support and understanding for their entire family;
and
WHEREAS, As husband and wife, Frank and Hilda Loguidice have lived and
continue to live their lives with a deep concern for human values and a
commitment to hard work and diligence; they have passed these values to
their loved ones, producing a close-knit and supportive family that is
public minded in its relations to the community; and
WHEREAS, Frank and Hilda Loguidice have touched the lives of their
family and friends through the shining example of their marriage -- a
testament to the devotion and admiration they possess for one another;
and
WHEREAS, Their enduring marriage truly marks a milestone in life's
journey, an event of personal triumph and joy that deserves to be cele-
brated by the State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
recognize and congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Frank Loguidice upon the occa-
sion of celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Loguidice.
