LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Giancarlo Valle upon the occasion
of receiving the Arrow of Light Award, the highest of Cub Scout honors
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body, in accord with its
long-standing traditions, to honor the youth of today, and leaders of
tomorrow, whose character and achievements best exemplify the ideals and
values cherished by this great State and Nation; and
WHEREAS, Giancarlo Valle, a member of Cub Scout Pack 544, through his
diligence and vigorous efforts, will achieve the highest of Cub Scout
honors, the Arrow of Light Award at a ceremony to be held on Friday,
February 7, 2014, at the Clinton G. Martin Community Center; and
WHEREAS, Giancarlo Valle is encouraged to continue with Scouting, in
recognition of the importance of working toward becoming an Eagle Scout,
the highest of Boy Scout honors; and
WHEREAS, America has achieved her greatest heights of glory through
the dedication, determination and tireless efforts of the outstanding
citizens of this Nation; and
WHEREAS, It is only with the continued diligence and devotion of our
youth, tomorrow's leaders, that America will maintain her glory; and
WHEREAS, The Boy Scouts of America and its members are dedicated to
the development of character and leadership in the youth of this Nation;
and
WHEREAS, Giancarlo Valle is a credit to his family, school, community,
and his State and Nation, and it is certain that his future will be
filled with accomplishments of equal importance; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Giancarlo Valle upon the occasion of receiving the Arrow of
Light Award, the highest of Cub Scout honors; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Giancarlo Valle.
