LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Danielle Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto
upon the occasion of their designation as recipients of the 2013 Women
of the Year Award by The Professional Women of Sullivan County

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Danielle Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto have given not only of
their time and energies but also of their competence, intelligence and
leadership and consequently have been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Danielle
Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto upon the occasion of their designation as
recipients of the 2013 Women of the Year Award by The Professional Women
of Sullivan County, to be celebrated at its Woman of the Year Dinner, on
Sunday, November 3, 2013, at the Eagle's Nest, Bloomingburg, New York;
and
WHEREAS, Danielle Gaebel, a long-time Sullivan County resident, began
working with the County's business community in 1997 at the SULLIVAN
DEMOCRAT; she currently serves as Assistant Publisher and Executive
Director of THE RIVER REPORTER where her commitment and leadership qual-
ities shine through; and
WHEREAS, Active within her community, Danielle Gaebel is on the Steer-
ing Committee for Sullivan Renaissance, a Master Gardener for Cornell
Cooperative Extension, and Market Manager for the Sullivan County Farm-
ers' Markets Association; in addition, she was honored by Sullivan Coun-
ty Community College as one of the Women Who Make a Difference; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor's degree in Soci-
ology, Jennifer Bitetto is originally from the Hudson Valley; she is
Treasurer for the St. Francis Children's Shop in White Lake, and serves
as Market Assistant for the Sullivan County Farmers' Markets Associ-
ation; and
WHEREAS, Jennifer Bitetto came to THE RIVER REPORTER in 2006 to join
the Sales Department as an Advertising Consultant; her professional
experience, enthusiasm and humor have made her a vital asset to the
sales team and the Sullivan County business community; and
WHEREAS, Danielle Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto started NaturalCon-
tents.com in 2010 as an online marketplace and blog, and in 2012 began
The Natural Contents' Kitchen, which provides regionally sourced organic
prepared food to Sullivan and Wayne Counties; and
WHEREAS, The dedication, character, knowledge, and organizational
skills exemplified by these two women have allowed The Natural Contents'
Kitchen to support 9-15 farms within the community; they work to promote
community connection, and inspire others to lead a healthier lifestyle;
and
WHEREAS, Danielle Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto have been called upon to
contribute their time and talents to countless civic and charitable
endeavors and have always given of themselves unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of their community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Danielle Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto
have stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Danielle Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto upon the occasion of their

designation as recipients of the 2013 Women of the Year Award by The
Professional Women of Sullivan County; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Danielle Gaebel and Jennifer Bitetto.
