LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Julisa Morman upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of a William B. Joslin Outstanding Performance
Award by New York State Industries for the Disabled
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
just tribute to those citizens who embody the true American spirit,
demonstrating personal courage and determination; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Julisa Morman upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of a
William B. Joslin Outstanding Performance Award by New York State Indus-
tries for the Disabled; and
WHEREAS, The annual Joslin Awards Program of the New York State Indus-
tries for the Disabled (NYSID) respectfully acknowledges individuals in
New York communities who strengthen the Preferred Source Program through
jobs well done; and
WHEREAS, Julisa Morman has been employed with E-BizDocs for five
years, and is a true example of how hard work, determination and dedi-
cation will lead to success; and
WHEREAS, Beginning in Document Preparation, Julisa Morman took on new
assignments as her skill set increased; during this time, the quality of
her work was quickly noticed and she was placed on the Short Turn Around
Team (STAT), a small group of dedicated employees who work on projects
needing a quick turnaround; and
WHEREAS, With an extraordinary interest in learning more, Julisa
Morman quickly rose to become the number one Document Preparer, and was
subsequently used in the Quality Assurance and Index areas; and
WHEREAS, Motivated to achieve a more challenging position, Julisa
Morman set her sights high and applied for an opening with the scanning
department in August of 2013; within 30 days of training for this posi-
tion, she became one of the best team members, scanning boxes effec-
tively and efficiently; and
WHEREAS, Julisa Morman was named Employee of the Month on three occa-
sions between January of 2012 and April of 2013 for the quality and
quantity of her work, attendance, attitude and interaction within the
office; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, Julisa Morman is punctual, trustworthy, always
willing to assist other team members, and extremely hardworking in
achieving her goals; and
WHEREAS, In the faithful performance of her duties and responsibil-
ities, Julisa Morman's ongoing efforts and notable achievements have
significantly contributed to bettering the quality of life in her commu-
nity; and
WHEREAS, Julisa Morman loves her job and takes great pride in her
abilities; her persistence and determination is a true inspiration, and
has earned her the admiration, esteem and affection of her colleagues;
and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals of such enduring courage and accomplishment are brought to our
attention, it is appropriate to publicly proclaim and commend those
individuals for the edification and emulation of others; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Julisa Morman upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
a William B. Joslin Outstanding Performance Award by New York State
Industries for the Disabled; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Julisa Morman.
