LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Phil Deyermond upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Phil Deyermond has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Phil Deyer-
mond upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, Phil Deyermond is Lead Occupational Therapist at Achieve
Rehab and Nursing Facility in Liberty, New York, where he is responsible
for the evaluation and treatment of individuals receiving short term
rehabilitation services, as well as assisting clients who live at the
facility; and
WHEREAS, For more than 13 years, Phil Deyermond has made a positive
difference in the lives of countless clients and their families by help-
ing the people who trust him with their care function as independently
as possible, thereby affording them self-confidence, dignity, and a
sense of empowerment; and
WHEREAS, Phil Deyermond, a resident of Eldred, New York, earned a
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy at University of Hartford,
West Hartford, Connecticut; and
WHEREAS, Committed to his community, Phil Deyermond is involved with
several civic organizations and groups; he is 2nd Assistant Chief with
the Yulan Volunteer Fire Department, and is a T-ball coach with Eldred
Little League; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, Phil Deyermond has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Phil Deyermond upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Phil Deyermond.
