LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Raymond R. Patterson upon the occasion
of his designation as recipient of a Stakeholders Founders Award to be
celebrated at the Stakeholders' 2014 GOBY Awards Ceremony on April 23,
2014

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of certain
extraordinary individuals it wishes to recognize for their valued
contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly
acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the basic humanity among
us all; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Raymond R.
Patterson upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of a Stake-
holders Founders Award to be celebrated at the Stakeholders' 2014 GOBY
Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at the GE Theatre at Proc-
tors, Schenectady, New York; and
WHEREAS, This illustrious award is bestowed upon board members and
staff of The Stakeholders, Inc. who had an early and influential impact
on the formation and success of Stakeholders; and
WHEREAS, Raymond R. Patterson has been a founding Principal and the
President of Capital Consulting Group, LLC, located near Saratoga
Springs, New York, since 1996; he is a seasoned management consultant,
business advisor, and entrepreneurial catalyst for companies, organiza-
tions, communities and individuals who want to thrive during today's
rapidly changing, customer-driven marketplace; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, Raymond R. Patter-
son also earned a Master's in Business Administration from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York; and
WHEREAS, Raymond R. Patterson's core areas of expertise and proficien-
cy include, facilitating group processes to discover, clarify and docu-
ment an organization's strategic vision; facilitating business process
engineering teams to dramatically improve business operations; and
developing and delivering customized leadership and management training;
and
WHEREAS, With five years active military experience in Logistics
Management and Computer Science, followed by thirteen years of civilian
service with the United States Army in Logistics Management at the
Watervliet Arsenal, Ray R. Patterson served on a Joint Services team to
evaluate and promote logistics initiatives to improve logistics through-
out the Department of Defense (DoD); and
WHEREAS, Following his civilian service to the DoD, Raymond R. Patter-
son joined the Agility Forum, located at Lehigh University, where he led
the Small and Medium Enterprise initiatives for the Agility Forum, as
well as being the coordinator for Federal Funded Agility Projects for
the Forum; and
WHEREAS, Raymond R. Patterson is the co-author of DRMS IS/IT, a client
specific textbook and training course devoted to Information Systems and
Information Technology in the reengineering of reutilization and redis-
tribution for the Department of Defense; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Raymond R. Patterson has displayed
throughout his life; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the

recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Raymond R. Patterson upon the occasion of his designation as
recipient of a Stakeholders Founders Award at the Stakeholders' 2014
GOBY Awards Ceremony on April 23, 2014; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Raymond R. Patterson.
