LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Fire Chief Robert Troncillito upon the
occasion of his designation for special recognition after 35 consecutive
years as Fire Chief of the Marlboro Hose Company No. 1

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is proud to commend Fire Chief Robert
Troncillito upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition
after 35 consecutive years as Fire Chief of the Marlboro Hose Company
No. 1; and
WHEREAS, Fire Chief Robert Troncillito joined the Marlboro Hose Compa-
ny No. 1 in 1964; and
WHEREAS, Over the years, Fire Chief Robert Troncillito worked his way
up from the fire fighters position into the officers ranks; he continued
to climb through the officers ranks until he became chief in 1979; and
WHEREAS, As Fire Chief, Robert Troncillito has implemented, and
continues to implement, new training programs; he keeps the fire fight-
ers of Marlboro Hose Company No. 1 on the cutting edge of fire fighting
and safety techniques; and
WHEREAS, Fire Chief Robert Troncillito has established an incredible
reputation as a fire chief, not only in Ulster county, but many
surrounding counties as well; and
WHEREAS, Thirty-five years later, Fire Chief Robert Troncillito
continues to lead the fire company with his vast knowledge and profes-
sionalism; he has set a milestone by holding the office of chief of the
Marlboro Hose Company No. 1 for 35 consecutive years; and
WHEREAS, Firefighters exemplify the power of human compassion and the
strength of the American spirit through actions of the most heroic
magnitude; their sacrifices and their selfless dedication merit tribute
and recognition by all citizens of this great state and nation; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Fire Chief Robert Troncillito upon the occasion of his desig-
nation for special recognition after 35 consecutive years as Fire Chief
of the Marlboro Hose Company No. 1; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Fire Chief Robert Troncillito.
