LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Nolan Levine upon the occasion of his
selection as a Young Professional Up and Comer in the Business Community
by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Nolan Levine has given not only of his time and energies but
also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Nolan Levine upon the occasion of his selection as a Young Professional
Up and Comer in the Business Community by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT;
and
WHEREAS, Nolan Levine, Vice President of Fallsburg Lumber, was
selected for this esteemed recognition for being hardworking, ambitious,
and creative; and
WHEREAS, Representing the fifth generation of family ownership in one
of the longest running businesses in the Fallsburg, New York, area,
106-year-old Fallsburg Lumber, Nolan Levine relishes being part of a
tradition; and
WHEREAS, As Vice President of Fallsburg Lumber, Nolan Levine handles
many important tasks including most major purchases, estimates, and
delivery scheduling; and
WHEREAS, Expertly in tune to his customers' needs, Nolan Levine
focuses on quality product, and exceptional customer service, providing
the people of Sullivan County with a quality product from a worthy
company; and
WHEREAS, A 1998 graduate of Fallsburg High School, Nolan Levine earned
a business degree with a focus in finance and marketing from Binghamton
University; and
WHEREAS, Active in his community, Nolan Levine is a member of the
Fallsburg Fire Department, and other various groups including the Mid-
Hudson Lumber Dealers Association, and the Mid-Hudson Builders Associ-
ation; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Nolan Levine upon the occasion of his selection as a Young Profes-
sional Up and Comer in the Business Community by the SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Nolan Levine.
