LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Anthony Carlucci upon the occasion of
his selection as a Young Professional Up and Comer in the Business
Community by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Carlucci has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Anthony Carlucci upon the occasion of his selection as a Young Profes-
sional Up and Comer in the Business Community by the SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT; and
WHEREAS, Anthony Carlucci, General Manager of Villa Roma Resort and
Conference Center, was selected for this esteemed recognition for being
hardworking, ambitious, and creative; and
WHEREAS, The Bronx native, Anthony Carlucci, began his illustrious
career at the Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center as a bellhop soon
after graduating from Monticello High School; and
WHEREAS, Having done everything from security, transportation, and
maintenance for the venerable Callicoon hotel, Anthony Carlucci was
named its Convention Services Manager just before the hotel reopened
after a devastating fire in 2006; two years later, he would be managing
the entire hotel; and
WHEREAS, Expertly in tune to his customers' needs, Anthony Carlucci
thoroughly enjoys the interaction with his many guests who come through
his doors, and relishes in speaking to them about what Sullivan County
has to offer; and
WHEREAS, Throughout his tenure at Villa Roma Resort and Conference
Center, Anthony Carlucci has remained focused on his growth by enrolling
in various online degree programs through the University of Phoenix and
Cornell; currently, he is working towards his Certified Hotel Adminis-
trator Certification; and
WHEREAS, Active in his community, Anthony Carlucci has been helping to
promote and assist with the reopening of the long-closed Skater's World
roller skating rink in Ferndale, New York; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Anthony Carlucci upon the occasion of his selection as a Young
Professional Up and Comer in the Business Community by the SULLIVAN
COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Anthony Carlucci.
