LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Daniel Parino Ramcharan upon the occa-
sion of his recognition by the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic
Association as a 2014 OCIAA Scholar Athlete

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its young
citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and accomplishments
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
nation; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Daniel Parino
Ramcharan upon the occasion of his recognition by the Orange County
Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2014 OCIAA Scholar Athlete;
and
WHEREAS, Academically and athletically, Daniel Parino Ramcharan has
distinguished himself as a young man of superlative ability, talent, and
maturity, establishing standards of excellence and achievement, purpose-
fulness of life, and responsibility rarely achieved in youthful years;
and
WHEREAS, Daniel Parino Ramcharan, a student at Monroe-Woodbury High
School in Central Valley, New York, ranked 16th in his class and partic-
ipated in spring track and indoor track; and
WHEREAS, A member of National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor
Society, Math Team and Mock Trials, Daniel Parino Ramcharan is a volun-
teer at Ambulance Corp and plans to study to become a lawyer; and
WHEREAS, An outstanding role model for his classmates, Daniel Parino
Ramcharan has brought honor to his family, school, and community; and
WHEREAS, Daniel Parino Ramcharan may stand with pride in his achieve-
ments, experiencing the satisfaction of his labors and the joy of his
accomplishments, eager to face the challenge of new experiences as he
continues his education; and
WHEREAS, Daniel Parino Ramcharan represents the potential inherent in
our most precious resource, our youth; this Legislative Body is pleased
to honor this young man, recognizing his achievements and the promise of
his future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Daniel Parino Ramcharan upon the occasion of his recognition by
the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2014 OCIAA
Scholar Athlete, and to wish him well in his future endeavors; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Daniel Parino Ramcharan.
