LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Nancy A. Robert upon the occasion of
her retirement after faithfully serving as Director of the St. Lawrence
County Office for the Aging
WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Nancy A.
Robert upon the occasion of her retirement after faithfully serving as
Director of the St. Lawrence County Office for the Aging; she will offi-
cially retire on June 30, 2014; and
WHEREAS, Nancy A. Robert began working as Director of the St. Lawrence
County Office for the Aging in March of 2010; and
WHEREAS, Previously, she served as St. Lawrence County commuter bus
program coordinator; bus transportation coordinator in Franklin County,
New York; and Director of a senior citizens center in Fort Covington,
New York; and
WHEREAS, During her tenure as Director, the St. Lawrence County Office
for the Aging consisted of a 29 person staff; and
WHEREAS, Throughout her career, Nancy A. Robert has enjoyed meeting
and working with older adults both in St. Lawrence County and throughout
the country; and
WHEREAS, In her retirement, Nancy A. Robert looks forward to continu-
ing with her volunteer activities and advocating for older adults, as
well as traveling and enjoying time on the water; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Nancy A. Robert upon the occasion of her retirement after faith-
fully serving as Director of the St. Lawrence County Office for the
Aging; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Nancy A. Robert.
