LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Kimberlie Dusseldorp upon the occasion
of her recognition by the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Associ-
ation as a 2014 OCIAA Scholar Athlete

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its young
citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and accomplishments
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
nation; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Kimberlie
Dusseldorp upon the occasion of her recognition by the Orange County
Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2014 OCIAA Scholar Athlete;
and
WHEREAS, Academically and athletically, Kimberlie Dusseldorp has
distinguished herself as a young woman of superlative ability, talent,
and maturity, establishing standards of excellence and achievement,
purposefulness of life, and responsibility rarely achieved in youthful
years; and
WHEREAS, Kimberlie Dusseldorp, a student at Roscoe High School, ranked
2nd in her class with a GPA of 95.44, and was on the soccer and softball
teams; and
WHEREAS, She is a member of the National Honor Society, salutatorian,
2013 Class President and a cheerleader; she plans to attend University
of Vermont and major in Arts and Sciences; and
WHEREAS, An outstanding role model for her classmates, Kimberlie
Dusseldorp has brought honor to her family, school, and community; and
WHEREAS, Kimberlie Dusseldorp may stand with pride in her achieve-
ments, experiencing the satisfaction of her labors and the joy of her
accomplishments, eager to face the challenge of new experiences as she
continues her education; and
WHEREAS, Kimberlie Dusseldorp represents the potential inherent in our
most precious resource, our youth; this Legislative Body is pleased to
honor this young woman, recognizing her achievements and the promise of
her future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kimberlie Dusseldorp upon the occasion of her recognition by the
Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2014 OCIAA Scho-
lar Athlete, and to wish her well in her future endeavors; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Kimberlie Dusseldorp.
