LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Five Star Subaru of Oneonta upon the
occasion of receiving the Otsego County Chamber of Commerce 2013 Small
Business of the Year Award

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Five Star Subaru of Oneonta upon the occasion of receiving the Otsego
County Chamber of Commerce 2013 Small Business of the Year Award on
Thursday, October 17, 2013, at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown,
New York; and
WHEREAS, The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce annually presents its
Small Business of the Year Award to a worthy business enterprise with 50
or fewer employees that is based in the county; and
WHEREAS, Five Star Subaru of Oneonta has earned this distinguished
honor due to its demonstrated commitment to broad community outreach and
engagement; and
WHEREAS, Five Star Subaru of Oneonta cares deeply about Otsego County
communities and treats all of its residents as highly valued customers,
whether or not they purchase automobiles or services; and
WHEREAS, Through its sponsorship of numerous local cultural events,
Five Star Subaru of Oneonta not only boosts the local cultural life, it
also supports the economic well-being of other area businesses; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business, its contributions to the local and
state economies, and its vibrant role in improving the quality of life
in its community, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Five Star Subaru of Oneonta upon the occasion of receiving the
Otsego County Chamber of Commerce 2013 Small Business of the Year Award;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Five Star Subaru of Oneonta.
