LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Don Parker as he completes his distin-
guished service as a Trustee of the Village of Plandome Heights, New
York

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend individuals who have faithfully served the citizens of their
community and the State of New York with exemplary dedication and
conscientious service, significantly improving the quality of life in
the community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Don
Parker as he completes his service as a Trustee of the Village of Plan-
dome Heights, New York; and
WHEREAS, Don Parker has rendered faithful, conscientious and valuable
service to the Village and people of Plandome Heights since 2009 as a
member of the Village's Board of Trustees and in many other ways; and
WHEREAS, Deeply committed to the quality of life of the citizens of
Plandome Heights and Nassau County, Don Parker has served the Village of
Plandome Heights with great diligence and unswerving commitment, earning
the admiration, esteem, and affection of his colleagues and community;
and
WHEREAS, As he completes his service as a Trustee of the Village of
Plandome Heights, Don Parker leaves an indelible imprint on the Village,
its services and quality of life, and richly merits the gratitude and
appreciation of the citizens of Plandome Heights and the recognition and
commendation of this Legislative Body; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Don Parker as he completes his service as a Trustee of the Village
of Plandome Heights after several years of distinguished service to the
Village and his community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Don Parker.
