LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Erica Paolicelli upon the occasion of
her designation as recipient of the 2012 Rising Star Award by the Seneca
County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to publicly recognize
those extraordinary individuals who have made contributions to the
success and progress of society in the course of their life's work; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Erica Paolicelli upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the 2012 Rising Star Award by the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce, to
be celebrated on Friday, January 18, 2013, in Waterloo, New York; and
WHEREAS, The Rising Star Award is given to a young professional (40 or
under) who has made outstanding contributions to their profession or
life's work and/or devoted their time and effort in the greater Seneca
County community improving the quality of life for others; and
WHEREAS, Born in Auburn, New York, Erica Paolicelli graduated from
Mynderse Academy; she later attended Finger Lakes Community College and
earned her Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from SUNY Oneonta;
and
WHEREAS, Employed by Three Brothers Wineries and Estates LLC, Erica
Paolicelli is a board member of both the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance and
Geneva Community Projects; she is also professionally involved with the
Academy of Wine Communications, the Seneca Lake Wine Trail Association,
and with the Finger Lakes Young Professionals; and
WHEREAS, Erica Paolicelli has been called upon to contribute her time
and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always
given of herself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Erica Paolicelli has stood constant
in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her husband, Justin, who feels
privileged to be a part of her life and rejoices in her achievements;
and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Erica Paolicelli has displayed
throughout her life; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Erica Paolicelli upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of the 2012 Rising Star Award by the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Erica Paolicelli.
