LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending the Wyoming County Community Health
System upon the occasion of receiving the 2012 Top Improver Award by
Press Ganey Associates, Inc.

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
commend and recognize those esteemed institutions within the medical
community for their extraordinary and sustained contributions to the
improvement of life; and
WHEREAS, It is the intent of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality of life in the communities across this great State of New
York is enriched by the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organ-
izations of distinction whose singular purpose is the care and welfare
of others; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
the Wyoming County Community Health System upon the occasion of receiv-
ing the 2012 Top Improver Award by Press Ganey Associates, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, Wyoming County Community Health System is one of 12 nation-
wide to receive this prestigious award; Press Ganey Associates, Inc. is
a company which partners with more than 10,000 health care facilities to
measure and improve patient experiences; and
WHEREAS, The hospital focused on several areas in order to meet the
award criteria, including the care for heart attack patients, those with
congestive heart failure, along with surgical care; in addition, the
organization was recognized for their hard work, dedication, teamwork
and specific attention to detail; and
WHEREAS, Challenges in health care change day to day; WCCHS provides
state of the art services through their highly qualified professionals
and the latest in advanced technology to maintain a strong tradition of
excellence; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when organiza-
tions of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend the Wyoming County Community Health System upon the occasion of
receiving the 2012 Top Improver Award by Press Ganey Associates, Inc.;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Donald Eichenauer, Chief Executive Officer, Wyoming County
Community Health System.
