LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Reverend Marie Boutin, for her distin-
guished service in ministry

WHEREAS, The character and richness of religious and community life in
this noble Empire State is nourished and fulfilled through the faithful
concern and selfless devotion of those who would commit their energies
and purpose to the ministry of others; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Reverend Marie Boutin, for her distinguished service in ministry; and
WHEREAS, Marie Boutin was born in Croise Des Mission, Haiti; she later
migrated to New York City, accepted Christ in her life at an early age
and was baptized and joined The First Revelation Church; and
WHEREAS, Marie Boutin's education includes a High School Diploma and a
licensed Certified Nurse Assistant, Licensed Chaplain Certificate from
the Anointing by God Chaplain Ministries; she earned her associate
degree in divinity from Jerry Savelle Bible School Ministries and an
associate degree in theology from Kenneth Copeland Bible Institute
College and Seminary in Texas; and
WHEREAS, Upon receiving her call to the ministry, Marie Boutin
embarked on a study to show herself approved unto God, she enrolled in
Kenneth Copeland Bible College Institute pursuing her bachelor's degree
of the bible and completed two certificate programs; and
WHEREAS, Reverend Marie Boutin was licensed and ordained at the Jesus
Is My Lord and Savior Ministries, where she is presently serving as a
Senior Pastor; her evangelistic ministry expands to a mid-week ministry
called "She is the founder Jesus Is Lord Outreach TV, Radio and Prison
Ministries", which is overseen by her Jesus Is Lord and Savior Minis-
tries in Springfield Gardens, New York; and
WHEREAS, An adoptive parent, Reverend Marie Boutin has a long standing
membership in the International Association of Evangelism Ministries in
Haiti, she understands the importance of social and civic issues; since
2001, she has conducted numerous evangelical home prayer ministries and
leadership conferences around the world; and
WHEREAS, This distinguished woman of God has always given enlight-
enment, guidance and wisdom to the many entrusted to her care and has
administered abundantly and unstintingly to the spiritual and corporal
needs of all; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when a person
of such noble aims and accomplishments is brought to our attention it is
appropriate to publicly and jubilantly proclaim and commend that indi-
vidual for the edification of others; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Reverend Marie Boutin, for her distinguished service in ministry;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Marie Boutin.
