LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Drake Loeb PLLC upon the occasion of
its designation for special recognition by Hospice of Orange and Sulli-
van Counties, Inc. on March 28, 2015

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of certain
extraordinary individuals and businesses it wishes to recognize for
their valued contributions to the success and progress of society and
publicly acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the basic
humanity among us all; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Drake Loeb
PLLC upon the occasion of its designation for special recognition by
Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Inc., to be celebrated at its
Starry Night Gala on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Anthony's Pier 9, New
Windsor, New York; and
WHEREAS, Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties provides support and
care for persons in the final stages of their lives, helping them live
out their remaining days with dignity and comfort; and
WHEREAS, Drake Loeb PLLC is being recognized for its many years of
support to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, along with its
unwavering dedication to helping Hospice carry out its mission; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed legal firm has played an integral role in the
history of Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, and its support has
continued over the years through numerous events and fundraisers,
including the building of the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence; and
WHEREAS, Today, Drake Loeb PLLC serves as an important benefactor of
Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties, and is a member of the Circle
of Life Giving Society; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of its community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Drake Loeb PLLC has stood constant
in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by individuals
for the benefit of others which Drake Loeb PLLC has displayed throughout
its history; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when individ-
uals and associations of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought
to our attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the
citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Drake Loeb PLLC for its dedicated service to Hospice of Orange and
Sullivan Counties, Inc.; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Drake Loeb PLLC.
