LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring George Kinne, Jr. upon the occasion of
his designation for special recognition by the 2015 SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition
WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, George Kinne, Jr. has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor George Kinne,
Jr. upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
2015 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, An esteemed resident of Roscoe, New York, George Kinne, Jr.
graduated from Roscoe Central School before earning a Bachelor's degree
in Finance from Ithaca College; and
WHEREAS, George Kinne, Jr. currently serves as the Executive Vice
President/Senior Loan Officer of Jeff Bank where he continues to climb
the ranks, formerly serving as Vice President and Senior Vice President;
and
WHEREAS, George Kinne, Jr. began his illustrious banking career in
1998, during which time he worked for Bank of America in Charlotte,
North Carolina; he went on to earn a position with Bank of America in
New York City in 2000, where he remained until 2006; and
WHEREAS, Truly committed to the well-being of his community, George
Kinne, Jr. is a Board Member of both the Sullivan County Partnership for
Economic Development and the Sullivan County Community College Founda-
tion; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Emily, and their two
children, Wesley and Abigail, all of whom feel privileged to be a part
of his life and rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, George Kinne, Jr. has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor George Kinne, Jr. upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the 2015 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT Men at Work Edition;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to George Kinne, Jr.
