LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Karl Bressler upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of a Young Professionals Award by the SULLIVAN
COUNTY DEMOCRAT

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Karl
Bressler upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of a Young
Professionals Award by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and
WHEREAS, Karl Bressler, Owner and Operator of the Law Office of Karl
Bressler, was selected for this esteemed recognition for being hardwork-
ing, ambitious, and creative; and
WHEREAS, The son of Ralph and Cynthia Bressler, in 1997, Karl Bressler
graduated from Livingston Manor Central School as Salutatorian; he went
on to attend Hamilton College near Utica, New York, graduating in 2001;
and
WHEREAS, Karl Bressler attended the University of Richmond Law School
in Virginia, and graduated in 2006; shortly thereafter, he was admitted
to the bar and began practicing law in Richmond; and
WHEREAS, After the passing of his grandmother, in 2011, Karl Bressler
and his wife, Kathleen, were offered the family farm in Bethel, New
York, a place full of fond memories where his father grew up; and
WHEREAS, The opportunity to return home to Sullivan County and keep
his wife's horse on their very own farm, while having his family and
friends nearby was too much for the couple to turn down; and
WHEREAS, In February of 2011, Karl Bressler's son, Bryce, was born;
this same year, he opened his law office in Livingston Manor in Novem-
ber; and
WHEREAS, Karl Bressler's practice specializes in general law, with the
bulk of his work being real estate; he also offers law services for
family court, and estate planning, just to name a few; and
WHEREAS, Now a father of three, Karl Bressler enjoys practicing law in
the same small town he was raised in, and relishes watching his children
play in the woods and fields where he and his father grew up; and
WHEREAS, Recently, Karl Bressler and his family have been renovating
and refurbishing their Bethel farm, while giving back and helping out
their community; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Kathleen, and their
three children, Bryce, Lukas, and Lillian, all of whom feel privileged
to be a part of his life and rejoice in his achievements; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Karl Bressler upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
a Young Professionals Award by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Karl Bressler.
