LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION mourning the death of Stephen J. Corallo, distin-
guished citizen and devoted member of his community

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens of the State of New York whose lifework and civic endeavor
served to enhance the quality of life in their communities and the great
State of New York; and
WHEREAS, It is with great sorrow and deep regret that this Legislative
Body records the passing of Stephen J. Corallo, noting the significance
of his purposeful life and accomplishments; and
WHEREAS, Stephen J. Corallo of Monroe, New York, formerly of Thiells,
died on May 13, 2015 at the age of 44; and
WHEREAS, Born in Suffern, New York on January 17, 1971 to Maureen and
Sal Corallo, Stephen J. Corallo was a loving husband and devoted father,
creating many memories and traditions with his children; and
WHEREAS, Stephen J. Corallo attended North Rockland High School where
he was a member of the Lacrosse team; he went on to earn a Bachelor's
degree from St. Thomas Aquinas College; and
WHEREAS, An avid Jets fan, Stephen J. Corallo loved to run, swim and
ski, and especially treasured spending time with his family; growing up
he enjoyed baseball and played for the Haverstraw Little League; and
WHEREAS, Stephen J. Corallo's commitment to excellence, and his spirit
of humanity, carried over into all fields of enterprise, including char-
itable and civic endeavors; he worked as a Superintendent for Structure
Tone Inc. in New Jersey; and
WHEREAS, Predeceased by his grandparents, Stephen J. Corallo is
survived by his loving wife, Liz and their two beautiful children Mada-
lynne and Joseph; parents, Maureen and Sal; sister, Terry; brother,
Chris (Sharon); in-laws, Carol and Frank; sisters-in-law, Christine and
Karen; brother-in-law, Bill; beloved nieces, Amanda, Cassie, Justina and
Elisa; and his nephew, Nicholas, as well as many aunts, uncles and cous-
ins; and
WHEREAS, Stephen J. Corallo's commitment to excellence, and his spirit
of humanity, carried over into all fields of enterprise, including char-
itable and civic endeavors; and
WHEREAS, Armed with a humanistic spirit, imbued with a sense of
compassion, and comforted by a loving family, Stephen J. Corallo leaves
behind a legacy which will long endure the passage of time and will
remain as a comforting memory to all he served and befriended; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Stephen J. Corallo, distinguished citizen and devoted
member of his community; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to the family of Stephen J. Corallo.
