LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Brittney Hunt upon the occasion of her
designation as the recipient of the Compassionate Care Award by Coun-
seling Care & Services and the City of Cohoes

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Brittney Hunt has given not only of her time and energies but
also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Brittney Hunt upon the occasion of her designation as the recipient of
the Compassionate Care Award by Counseling Care & Services and the City
of Cohoes; and
WHEREAS, In 2010, Brittney Hunt earned her bachelor's degree from
Siena College; currently, she is working on her Masters of Divinity
degree from Liberty University; and
WHEREAS, Brittney Hunt has served as the Office Manager for Vineyard
Community Church, Cohoes, New York; today, she holds the position of
Associate Pastor; and
WHEREAS, Brittney Hunt has been called upon to contribute her time and
talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always given
of herself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Dedicated to her community, Brittney Hunt has participated on
the Cohoes Youth Advisory Board of Directors, the Cohoes Clergy associ-
ation, and Choose Cohoes; in addition, she is instrumental in starting
the Cohoes Bridges Program; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Brittney Hunt has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Brittney Hunt has displayed through-
out her life; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Brittney Hunt upon the occasion of her designation as the recipi-
ent of the Compassionate Care Award by Counseling Care & Services and
the City of Cohoes; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Brittney Hunt.
