LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Frank Downing, Jr. upon the occasion
of being named 2015 Executive of the Year and Elite Sales and Marketing
Award recipient by Buffalo Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals who substantially contribute to the
economic vitality of their communities and the entire Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Frank Downing, Jr. upon the occasion of being named 2015 Executive of
the Year and Elite Sales and Marketing Award recipient by Buffalo
Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives to be celebrated at its Awards Gala
on Monday, February 29, 2016, at Salvatore's Italian Gardens in Depew,
New York; and
WHEREAS, Each year, Buffalo Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives
recognizes a prominent industry leader from Western New York as the
Executive of the Year whose outstanding efforts have not only produced
economic rewards for his or her organization and region, but also have
advanced the sales and marketing profession; and
WHEREAS, Frank Downing, Jr. is the President of Towne Automotive
Group, and a leader and role model for his entire community; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed man has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Frank Downing, Jr. has stood
constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Frank Downing, Jr. has displayed
throughout his life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when business
leaders of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our atten-
tion, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of
this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Frank Downing, Jr. upon the occasion of being named 2015 Execu-
tive of the Year and Elite Sales and Marketing Award recipient by
Buffalo Niagara Sales & Marketing Executives; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Frank Downing, Jr.
