LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Andrea Brovetto upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Outstanding Community Service Award by
the East Northport Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Andrea Brovet-
to upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the Outstanding
Community Service Award by the East Northport Chamber of Commerce to be
celebrated at its 13th Annual Taste of Long Island Event on Thursday,
April 14, 2016, at the Larkfield, East Northport, New York; and
WHEREAS, Established in 1994, the East Northport Chamber of Commerce
has been serving the East Northport neighborhood and the business commu-
nity for over two decades; the dedicated members of this vital organiza-
tion strive to create a positive climate for doing business and living
in East Northport, New York; and
WHEREAS, Andrea Brovetto has been actively involved in the real estate
industry for 40 years; currently, she is a Certified Buyer Represen-
tative (CBR), a Licensed Associate Broker, and a Senior Real Estate
Specialist (SRES); and
WHEREAS, For many years, Andrea Brovetto has owned and operated her
own real estate agency; in 1990, she sold her business and joined Coach
Realtors of Long Island; and
WHEREAS, Due to her extensive real estate experience, hard work and
determination, she has frequently been a top producing sales agent; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Andrea Brovetto upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of the Outstanding Community Service Award by the East Northport Chamber
of Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Andrea Brovetto.
