LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Ivan Sayles upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Business Person of the Year by the Free-
port Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Ivan Sayles
upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the Business Person
of the Year by the Freeport Chamber of Commerce to be celebrated at its
Annual Installation Dinner Dance on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at the
Coral House, Baldwin, New York; and
WHEREAS, Small business owners exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit
which has fueled our State and Nation since their founding; and
WHEREAS, With his proven business leadership abilities and his evident
dedication to his community, Ivan Sayles is the quintessential selection
for the prestigious Business Person of the Year Award; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Ivan Sayles upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the Business Person of the Year by the Freeport Chamber of Commerce; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Ivan Sayles.
