LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Race Printing and Package Center upon
the occasion of its designation as Business Partner of the Year by FMS
Workforce Solutions System

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Race Printing and Package Center upon the occasion of its designation as
Business Partner of the Year by FMS Workforce Solutions System, to be
celebrated at the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce's Annual Business
Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Cavern's Palace,
Howe Caves, New York; and
WHEREAS, Located in Cobleskill, New York, Race Printing and Package
Center was established in April of 1989 by Debbie and Denny Tilison; and
WHEREAS, Race Printing and Package Center provides businesses with
quality printing and design services with remarkably fast turnaround
times to meet all of its customers' printing needs; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Race Printing and Package Center is a UPS,
FedEx, DHL and Post Office partner, and recently expanded their services
to include t-shirt and embroidery items; and
WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering dedication to its community,
Race Printing and Package Center has been working with FMS Workforce
Solutions System and local young people for more than 15 years in the
Summer Youth Employment Program; and
WHEREAS, Committed to instilling youth with a work ethic that will
last a lifetime, Race Printing and Package Center also participates in
the Wage Subsidy Program to help both youth and adults gain work experi-
ence; and
WHEREAS, Debbie and Denny Tilison strive to be excellent mentors,
ensuring that their youth participants learn essential and transferable
employment skills, as well as accountability for their actions and
necessary life skills; and
WHEREAS, Over its distinguished 27 year history, Race Printing and
Package Center has demonstrated continuous service to the residents and
communities which it serves; and
WHEREAS, The success of Race Printing and Package Center is in direct
correlation to the efforts of Debbie and Denny Tilison, whose involve-
ment is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment,
an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in
all endeavors on behalf of the business and the community it serves; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Race Printing and Package Center upon the occasion of its desig-
nation as Business Partner of the Year by FMS Workforce Solutions
System; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Debbie and Denny Tilison, Race Printing and Package Center.
