LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Green Wolf Brewing Company upon the
occasion of its designation as New Business of the Year by the Schoharie
County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Green Wolf Brewing Company upon the occasion of its designation as New
Business of the Year by the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce, to be
celebrated at its Annual Business Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Friday,
April 1, 2016, at Cavern's Palace, Howe Caves, New York; and
WHEREAS, Green Wolf Brewing Company is a licensed farm brewery located
in the Village of Middleburgh, New York, within the scenic and historic
Schoharie County; and
WHEREAS, The uncommon ales of Green Wolf Brewing Company are crafted
with care and attention to detail, using local ingredients whenever
possible; this esteemed business strives to create an interconnected web
of farmers, local businesses, and beer enthusiasts within New York
State's Capital Region in an effort to build a thriving market for its
artisan ales; and
WHEREAS, In nearly every batch brewed, Green Wolf Brewing Company uses
between 75 and 90 percent New York grown and malted grains; more than
half of the hops used are sourced from within an hour drive of Middle-
burgh, and any waste grain from production is either composted or given
to local farms for free to use as feed for their livestock; and
WHEREAS, Green Wolf Brewing Company brews both daring and uncommon
beer, from bold and robust imperial porters, hop centric IPAs, Belgian
inspired ales, and wheat beers; they have also developed a gluten free
beer and non-alcoholic sodas; and
WHEREAS, Green Wolf's taproom provides friends and neighbors a place
to relax and socialize, offering pints of craft ale to enjoy on the
premises or purchase bottled to bring home; in addition, the taproom
offers samples and scheduled tours of the production facility, as well
as live music and trivia; and
WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents an opportunity for this
Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to Green Wolf Brewing
Company; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Green Wolf Brewing Company upon the occasion of its designation
as New Business of the Year by the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Green Wolf Brewing Company, Middleburgh, New York.
