LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Nicole Dungey upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT
honoring the 2015 Professional Women and Women in Business

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Nicole Dungey has given not only of her time and energies but
also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Nicole
Dungey upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT honoring the 2015 Professional Women and
Women in Business; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Fallsburg High School Class of 1991, Nicole
Dungey also attended SUNY Sullivan; and
WHEREAS, Since 1996, Nicole Dungey has worked for the Rolling V Bus
Corporation, and has served in a variety of roles including bus monitor,
driver, trainer, safety officer and driving instructor; and
WHEREAS, For the past three years, this esteemed woman has served as
Safety Director at Rolling V where she is responsible for ensuring the
safety and transportation of all passengers, directing compliance and
training, and conducting bus safety programs in schools for teachers and
students; and
WHEREAS, Nicole Dungey has been called upon to contribute her time and
talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always given
of herself unstintingly; she has continuously participated in the Bus
Rodeo which collects food and school supplies for the Fallsburg School
District; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her mother, "Tinker"; and one
sister, Buffy, both of whom feel privileged to be a part of her life and
rejoice in her achievements; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Nicole Dungey has displayed through-
out her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Nicole Dungey upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT honoring the 2015 Profes-
sional Women and Women in Business; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Nicole Dungey.
