LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring James Noble upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016
Men at Work Edition
WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, James Noble has given not only of his time and energies but
also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special recognition; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor James Noble
upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition; and
WHEREAS, James Noble graduated from Lincoln High School in Yonkers,
New York, and John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City,
earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Planning;
along with successfully completing numerous professional certifications,
he is currently working toward his Masters degree in Public Adminis-
tration at the University of Virginia; and
WHEREAS, With 26 years of experience in law enforcement, James Noble
works at the Sullivan County Board of Cooperative Educational Services
(BOCES) as a Public Safety Instructor, Career and Technical Education;
his duties include teaching the skill sets necessary to prepare students
for a career in Law Enforcement; and
WHEREAS, Truly committed to the well-being of his students, James
Noble enjoys helping them receive industry-related certifications as
well as college credits in Criminal Justice to be used toward a degree
at five area colleges; and
WHEREAS, Active in his community, James Noble is a lifetime member and
founder of the Hudson Valley Regional Police Pipes and Drums, and member
of the AOH Division 2 in Cornwall, New York; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, and three sons, all
of whom feel privileged to be a part of his life and rejoice in his
achievements; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and communi-
ty service, a period of constructive involvement, James Noble has stood
constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations honor-
ing James Noble upon the occasion of his designation for special recog-
nition by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT 2016 Men at Work Edition; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to James Noble.
