LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Minisink Valley High School Varsi-
ty Wrestling Team Coach Kevin Gallagher upon the occasion of celebrating
his 400th career varsity coaching win

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, to commend notable athletic coaches who
serve the young adults of this great Empire State and who have distin-
guished themselves and their schools through outstanding commitment and
exemplary athletic achievement; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late Minisink Valley High School Varsity Wrestling Team Coach Kevin
Gallagher upon the occasion of celebrating his 400th career varsity
coaching win; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Minisink Valley High School, Kevin Gallagher
currently serves as a High School Physical Education Teacher at his alma
mater; and
WHEREAS, Becoming one of only a few premiere coaches in the history of
New York State Wrestling, Minisink Valley Warriors Wrestling Team Coach
Kevin Gallagher notched his 400th career victory on Wednesday, February
3, 2016, as his team dominated the Washingtonville Wizards 57-15; and
WHEREAS, Under the luminous guidance of Coach Kevin Gallagher, the
Minisink Valley Warriors Wrestling Team continues to be ranked among the
best in the State; and
WHEREAS, Coach Kevin Gallagher's positive demeanor, selfless commit-
ment, and caring concern have contributed to his enduring success as a
coach and mentor, earning him the just respect and admiration of his
community, his peers, and the athletes he has so ably coached; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Minisink Valley High School Wrestling Team Coach Kevin
Gallagher upon the occasion of celebrating his 400th career varsity
coaching win; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Kevin Gallagher.
