LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Orazio's Restaurant upon the occa-
sion of its designation as recipient of the 2015 Business of the Year
Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are enhanced by the concerned and dedicated efforts of businesses and
individuals who generously contribute to the welfare of the community
and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, it is the sense of this Legislative Body to
congratulate Orazio's Restaurant of Clarence, New York, upon the occa-
sion of its designation as recipient of the 2015 Business of the Year
Award by the Clarence Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Orazio's Restaurant is receiving this auspicious award for
its continued growth and commitment to Clarence, New York; and
WHEREAS, Orazio Ippolito, Jr. established Orazio's Restaurant over 24
years ago, in Clarence, New York; he is both a graduate of Canisius High
School and the prestigious Culinary Institute of America; and
WHEREAS, Today, Orazio Ippolito, Jr., his wife, Amy, his brother, Sam,
and the entire staff have made Orazio's Restaurant a prize winning
establishment recognized for its delicious, home-made cuisine, featuring
some of the best Italian, Sicilian, and American cuisine, and one of the
largest seafood menus in Erie County; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the years, Orazio's Restaurant has won numerous
awards for Pasta con Vodka, their Italian Crepes, and other entrees and
appetizers; in 2011, they were chosen by guests to receive the esteemed
Taste of Clarence People's Choice "Silver Spoon" Award; and
WHEREAS, In 2014, Orazio's Restaurant began to distribute its Italian
Gelato and opened Orazio's Italian Crepes and Gelato at the Walden
Galleria Mall, which has just been approved for franchising in New York
State; and
WHEREAS, Orazio Ippolito, Jr. and the entire staff are committed to
their community; they support many different organizations, associ-
ations, and groups; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Orazio's Restaurant upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the 2015 Business of the Year Award by the Clarence Chamber
of Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Orazio Ippolito, Jr., Owner, Orazio's Restaurant.
