LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Corcoran Custom Services of Bata-
via, New York, upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the
2014 Agricultural Business of the Year Award by the Genesee County Cham-
ber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are enhanced by the concerned and dedicated efforts of business organ-
izations and individuals that generously contribute to the welfare of
the community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late Corcoran Custom Services of Batavia, New York, upon the occasion of
its designation as recipient of the 2014 Agricultural Business of the
Year Award by the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, Corcoran Custom Services is receiving this auspicious award
for its continued growth in the last 10 years and commitment to Genesee
County; and
WHEREAS, Established by Bill and Stacy Corcoran, Corcoran Custom
Services has taken its custom harvesting business from a forage harves-
ter and combine to a full suite of offerings including custom harvest-
ing, tillage, trucking, and manure handling; and
WHEREAS, Corcoran Custom Services supplies the entire package of
harvesting feed for approximately six large local dairies; they also
provide tillage work and manure handling for a number of local farms;
and
WHEREAS, In the fall, Corcoran Custom Services is responsible for
three to four combines for soybeans and corn along with the trucking for
several farms; and
WHEREAS, Currently, Corcoran Custom Services employs 12 to 15 individ-
uals both full-time and part-time; their facilities and machinery are
always clean and well-kept; and
WHEREAS, Corcoran Custom Services continues to flourish as a depend-
able, reliable workforce in the Genesee County Agriculture industry; and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body acknowl-
edges this exceptional business and its contributions to the local and
State economies, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy the
sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Corcoran Custom Services of Batavia, New York, upon the
occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2014 Agricultural Busi-
ness of the Year Award by the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce; and be
it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Bill and Stacy Corcoran, Founders, Corcoran Custom Services.
