LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commemorating the 90th Anniversary of Amigone
Funeral Home, Inc.

WHEREAS, Businesses which provide outstanding services to residents of
the communities of the State of New York are deserving of public recog-
nition and applause for their efforts; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commem-
orate the 90th Anniversary of Amigone Funeral Home, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, In 1926, Daniel Amigone, Sr. and his wife, Molly, began oper-
ating a funeral service from his mother's home in Tonawanda, New York;
20 years later, his son, Anthony P. Amigone, Sr. began working with him
and later inherited the business; through the years, he continued the
legacy by serving families with dedication and commitment, and providing
the highest level of dignity and care; and
WHEREAS, In the 1970s, Vincent Amigone, Sr. and Anthony P. Amigone,
Jr. began working with their father at Amigone Funeral Home; today as
the third generation owners, they are carrying the tradition forward by
serving families in the Western New York area; and
WHEREAS, A successful, family-owned and locally operated business with
15 funeral home locations, the Amigone Funeral Home has gained the
respect, confidence and loyalty of the community, embracing its reputa-
tion as a premiere funeral home committed to serving all families
throughout the Western New York region; and
WHEREAS, Since its establishment, Amigone Funeral Home has earned a
reputation of excellence in serving families with care and concern
during difficult times; and
WHEREAS, The Amigone Funeral Home will continue to positively impact
the community it serves for many years to come; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 90th Anniversary of Amigone Funeral Home, Inc., and wish
this business continued success in its endeavors; and be it further
RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Vincent J. Amigone, Sr. and Anthony Amigone, Jr., Amigone
Funeral Home, Inc.
