LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring M. Keith Paciga upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the Orange County Interscholastic
Athletic Association as a 2016 Senior Scholar-Athlete

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord with
its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its young
citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and accomplishments
exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great State and
Nation; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor M. Keith Paci-
ga upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2016 Senior
Scholar-Athlete; and
WHEREAS, Academically and athletically, M. Keith Paciga has distin-
guished himself as a young man of superlative ability, talent, and matu-
rity, establishing standards of excellence and achievement, purposeful-
ness of life, and responsibility rarely achieved in youthful years; and
WHEREAS, M. Keith Paciga, a student at Sullivan West Central School,
is ranked 9th in his class with a 92 GPA; he also participated in numer-
ous sports including football, basketball, track and golf; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed young man is Class President, and a member of
both the National Honor Society and his school's Drama Club; and
WHEREAS, M. Keith Paciga has been called upon to contribute his time
and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always
given of himself unstintingly; he has graciously volunteered his time
with the Callicoon Youth Basketball and Dessin Animal Shelter, as well
as the Kenoza Lake Fire Department and Ride 2 Survive; and
WHEREAS, An outstanding role model for his classmates, M. Keith Paciga
has brought honor to his family, school, and community; and
WHEREAS, M. Keith Paciga may stand with pride in his achievements,
experiencing the satisfaction of his labors and the joy of his accom-
plishments, eager to face the challenge of new experiences as he contin-
ues his education; and
WHEREAS, M. Keith Paciga represents the potential inherent in our most
precious resource, our youth; this Legislative Body is pleased to honor
this young man, recognizing his achievements and the promise of his
future; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor M. Keith Paciga upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as
a 2016 Senior Scholar, and to wish him well in his future endeavors; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to M. Keith Paciga.
