LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Bill Morris upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of a Young Professionals Award by the SULLIVAN
COUNTY DEMOCRAT

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Bill
Morris upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of a Young
Professionals Award by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and
WHEREAS, Bill Morris is the owner of Overboard Aquatics in Wurtsboro,
New York, a business which specializes in the sale and care of marine
fish and coral; and
WHEREAS, With a strong passion for marine life and a deep knowledge of
the subject, Bill Morris has grown from a curious hobbyist to a dedi-
cated professional in the world of saltwater aquariums over the past
three years; and
WHEREAS, In addition to learning the basic set up requirements for
aquariums, Bill Morris has immersed himself in the subject of marine
life to acquire as much information as possible about caring for saltwa-
ter creatures; and
WHEREAS, Today, Bill Morris is committed to providing his patrons with
exceptional service and expert knowledge of the smallest details to
ensure a successful home environment for their fish and coral purchases;
he also offers one-on-one consultations about the marine life he sells
to customers who often travel from up to two hours away; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Bill Morris has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Entrepreneurs like Bill Morris exert a strong, positive
influence on the communities they serve and are a crucial element in the
economy of New York State; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those business
owners who enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and
have shown a long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have
earned the recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great
Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Bill Morris upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of a
Young Professionals Award by the SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT; and be it
further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Bill Morris.
