LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION congratulating Coach Mike Mancuso upon the occa-
sion of celebrating his 200th career victory as Head Coach of the Pine
Bush High School Softball Team

WHEREAS, Excellence and success in competitive sports can be achieved
only through strenuous practice, team play and team spirit, nurtured by
dedicated coaching and strategic planning; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend notable
athletic coaches who serve the young men and women of this great Empire
State, and who have distinguished themselves and their schools through
outstanding commitment and exemplary athletic achievement; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to congratu-
late Coach Mike Mancuso upon the occasion of celebrating his 200th
career victory as Head Coach of the Pine Bush High School Softball Team;
and
WHEREAS, For the past 16 years, Mike Mancuso has superbly mentored and
guided young athletes to success on and off the softball field at Pine
Bush High School; and
WHEREAS, During his illustrious tenure, Coach Mike Mancuso has lead
his teams to the Section 9 Class AA Championship Game four times while
skillfully blending the talents of players from several different travel
teams; and
WHEREAS, Coach Mike Mancuso's positive demeanor, selfless commitment,
and caring concern have contributed to his enduring success as a coach
and mentor, earning him the just respect and admiration of his communi-
ty, his peers, and the athletes he has so ably coached; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his coaching career, a period
of constructive involvement, Coach Mike Mancuso has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those excep-
tional coaches who enhance the well-being and vitality of their communi-
ty and have shown a long and sustained commitment to excellence certain-
ly have earned the recognition and applause of all the citizens of this
great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations, to
congratulate Coach Mike Mancuso upon the occasion of celebrating his
200th career victory as Head Coach of the Pine Bush High School Softball
Team; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Coach Mike Mancuso.
