LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Heartfelt Helping Hands of Camden, New
York, upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2016
Older Americans Award by Oneida County on May 19, 2016

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those organiza-
tions and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare of the
community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Heartfelt Helping Hands of Camden, New York, upon the occasion of its
designation as recipient of the 2016 Older Americans Award by Oneida
County to be celebrated at an Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 19, 2016;
and
WHEREAS, This auspicious award will be bestowed upon Heartfelt Helping
Hands for its steadfast and unremitting commitment to its Camden Area
Community; and
WHEREAS, Heartfelt Helping Hands is an organization comprised of
volunteers who strive to link people with information and services,
which in turn, contribute to the health and vitality of its community;
this mission empowers the elderly, children and families to achieve
lifelong successes by self-advocating utilizing up-to-date contacts,
services and agencies; and
WHEREAS, The devoted volunteers of Heartfelt Helpings Hands provide
its clients companionship, medical and personal transportation, and
friendly assistance; and
WHEREAS, This occasion presents an opportunity for this Legislative
Body to recognize organizations and individuals who faithfully serve the
needs of the community and its citizens with diligence and compassionate
commitment to improving the quality and dignity of life in the communi-
ty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Heartfelt Helping Hands upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the 2016 Older Americans Award by Oneida County on May 19,
2016; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Heartfelt Helping Hands.
