LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending EMT Charles Keefe for his heroic
efforts as a member of the Delmar-Bethlehem EMS upon the occasion of
being honored by the Nathaniel Adams Blanchard Post No. 1040 of the
American Legion at its Community Service Awards Reception
WHEREAS, Volunteer ambulance corps members are an important part of the
safety net of America's healthcare system; they provide lifesaving care
to those in need, 24 hours a day, seven days a week; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and pay
tribute to those individuals within the State of New York who, in the
course of their jobs, perform acts of heroic dimension; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is proud to commend EMT Charles Keefe
for his heroic efforts as a member of the Delmar-Bethlehem EMS upon the
occasion of being honored by the Nathaniel Adams Blanchard Post No. 1040
of the American Legion at its 35th Annual Community Service Awards
Reception on Monday, March 2, 2015, Delmar, New York; and
WHEREAS, On many occasions, Charles Keefe has acted with bravery and
steady precision in dealing with the risk and drama of emergency situ-
ations; and
WHEREAS, Charles Keefe is known throughout his community for excel-
lence and professionalism, always going the extra mile in the provision
of care to people in need; his hard work embodies the dedication,
compassion, and respect displayed by emergency responders across this
great Empire State; and
WHEREAS, In the performance of his duties, Charles Keefe has demon-
strated his character and his concern for the welfare of others; he is a
tremendous asset to the Delmar-Bethlehem EMS and the residents of the
community, the State and the Nation; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend EMT Charles Keefe for his heroic efforts as a member of the
Delmar-Bethlehem EMS upon the occasion of being honored by the Nathaniel
Adams Blanchard Post No. 1040 of the American Legion; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to EMT Charles Keefe.
