LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Patricia B. LaBarr upon the occasion of
being named Administrator of the Year by Jefferson-Lewis BOCES for her
work as Principal of H.T. Wiley School
WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Patricia B.
LaBarr upon the occasion of being named Administrator of the Year by
Jefferson-Lewis BOCES; and
WHEREAS, In her role as Principal, Patricia B. LaBarr has created an
education environment welcoming to all children and their families; and
WHEREAS, Admired by her colleagues, Patricia B. LaBarr is known for
her tireless work to continually improve her school; and
WHEREAS, To ensure each child gets a healthy start to their day,
Patricia B. LaBarr attained funding through her community to create a
school breakfast program; and
WHEREAS, Devoting time to her students is a priority for Patricia B.
LaBarr who made it a priority to have lunch with every student at her
school; and
WHEREAS, During even the most stressful school days, Patricia B.
LaBarr makes it a point to visit each classroom and offer her encourage-
ment and reassurance; and
WHEREAS, Patricia B. LaBarr has set a shining example for others, and
truly gone above and beyond to better the lives of the people in her
community; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Patricia B. LaBarr upon the occasion of being named Administrator
of the Year by Jefferson-Lewis BOCES for her work as Principal at H.T.
Wiley School; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Patricia B. LaBarr.
