LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Ken Roser upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the 2015 Business Person of the Year Award
by the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce on June 29, 2016

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
trious individuals and institutions of the State of New York whose
purposeful endeavors serve to enhance the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
Ken Roser upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the 2015
Business Person of the Year Award by the Greater Utica Chamber of
Commerce, to be celebrated at a Signature Event on Wednesday, June 29,
2016, at The Parish on Broadway, Utica, New York; and
WHEREAS, With his proven business leadership abilities and his evident
dedication to his community, Ken Roser is the quintessential selection
for the prestigious 30th Business Person of the Year Award; and
WHEREAS, Ken Roser is both the Founder and President of Professional
Media Services Inc.; since its inception in 1981, this successful full
service marketing and advertising firm has strived to be at the fore-
front of innovative technology, providing customized web development,
inbound marketing, graphic design, corporate branding, marketing strate-
gies, video production, animation and more to its clientele; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Ken Roser holds the title of President of Roser
Communications Network, Inc., a company which provides radio broadcast-
ing services; the business owns and operates several radio stations
including WBUG-FM, WBGK-FM, and WVTL-AM; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Ken Roser upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
2015 Business Person of the Year Award by the Greater Utica Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Ken Roser.
