LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending MGD Investments upon the occasion of
its designation as recipient of the Beautification Award by the Wantagh
Chamber of Commerce on March 12, 2015

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to honor those illus-
trious individuals and establishments of the State of New York whose
purposeful endeavors serve to enhance the quality of life in their
communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to commend
MGD Investments upon the occasion of its designation as recipient of the
Beautification Award by the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce to be celebrated
at its Annual Installation of Officers and Trustees Event on Thursday,
March 12, 2015, at the Riviera, Massapequa, New York; and
WHEREAS, It is with great admiration that this Legislative Body
applauds the efforts of all the individuals involved in this vital busi-
ness, and to recognize their unwavering devotion to improving the quali-
ty of life for others; and
WHEREAS, Throughout its distinguished history, MGD Investments has
diligently served the residents of Wantagh, New York, and its surround-
ing communities; it has made a difference in every life it touches and
has had a positive impact throughout the entire region; and
WHEREAS, Businesses such as MGD Investments exert a strong, positive
influence on the communities they serve and are a crucial element in the
economy of New York State; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when businesses
of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our attention,
they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens of the
great State of New York; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend MGD Investments upon the occasion of its designation as recipi-
ent of the Beautification Award by the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce on
March 12, 2015; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to MGD Investments.
