LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Kiersten Flynn upon the occasion of
her designation for special recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY
DEMOCRAT honoring Professional Women and Women in Business
WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Kiersten Flynn has given not only of her time and energies
but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Kiersten
Flynn upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT honoring Professional Women and Women
in Business; and
WHEREAS, Kiersten Flynn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology,
and a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, both from the University of
Scranton in Pennsylvania; and
WHEREAS, In 2011, Kiersten Flynn began her illustrious career as a
staff physical therapist with Access Physical Therapy and Wellness
located in Ferndale, New York; and
WHEREAS, Today, Kiersten Flynn is Director of the Ferndale clinic as
well as the only staff physical therapist at this location; she is also
responsible for the clinic's marketing/business development; and
WHEREAS, One of Kiersten Flynn's most rewarding aspects of her job is
spending valuable one-on-one time with her patients and helping them
while they are convalescing; and
WHEREAS, Kiersten Flynn's sparkling success is due in part to a
fantastic company with amazing people who have helped her grow profes-
sionally and personally; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her three brothers, two nieces,
and one nephew, all of whom feel privileged to be a part of her life and
rejoice in her achievements; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Kiersten Flynn has displayed
throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Kiersten Flynn upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT honoring Professional
Women and Women in Business; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Kiersten Flynn.
