LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Darlene DePasquale upon the occasion
of her designation as recipient of the 2014 Humanitarian Award by the
Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce
WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made signif-
icant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, Darlene DePasquale has given not only of her time and ener-
gies but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and conse-
quently has been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Darlene DePasquale upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the 2014 Humanitarian Award by the Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce to be
celebrated at its Annual President's Award and Recognition Dinner on
Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Pioneer Camp and Retreat Center in
Angola, New York; and
WHEREAS, A woman of singular distinction, Darlene DePasquale has
continually demonstrated extreme competence, extraordinary intelligence
and diligent leadership in her unwavering service to her community and
profession and consequently has been selected for this most prestigious
honor; and
WHEREAS, Darlene DePasquale has been called upon to contribute her
time and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has
always given of herself unstintingly; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Darlene DePasquale has stood
constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Darlene DePasquale has displayed
throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
career, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all the
citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Darlene DePasquale upon the occasion of her designation as recipi-
ent of the 2014 Humanitarian Award by the Evans-Brant Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Darlene DePasquale.
