LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION commending Diane McGrath upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT
honoring Professional Women and Women in Business

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve the
best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Diane McGrath has given not only of her time and energies but
also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special honor; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Diane
McGrath upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT honoring Professional Women and Women
in Business; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central School,
Diane McGrath attended SUNY Sullivan, and is currently taking online
classes with the Center for Financial Training to further her banking
education; in addition, she is participating in Leadership Sullivan, a
program offered by the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, For 25 years, Diane McGrath has been an employee of Jeff Bank
and currently serves as Assistant Vice President and Loan Servicing
Manager; and
WHEREAS, Prior to her current position, Diane McGrath was the Assist-
ant Manager of loan servicing, and mortgage processor, as well as a
teller; and
WHEREAS, The most rewarding aspect of Diane McGrath's job is working
with her clients who keep her energized and inspired to persevere in the
finance industry and continue her sparkling success; and
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Diane McGrath is a member of Jeff
Bank's Employee Activities Committee where she helps plan parade floats
and events to benefit the employees; she also belongs to Team Marissa
which raises funds for Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis; and
WHEREAS, Furthermore, this exceptional woman published a cookbook and
is now working on writing a second one; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Diane McGrath has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout has been her wonderful husband, Michael,
who feels privileged to be a part of her life and rejoices in her
achievements; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Diane McGrath has displayed through-
out her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Diane McGrath upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the 2014 SULLIVAN COUNTY DEMOCRAT honoring Professional
Women and Women in Business; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Diane McGrath.
