LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Lisa Tenneson upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Business Person of the Year Award by the
Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend the leaders of commerce and industry whose accomplishments
contribute to the economic health and prosperity of the communities of
the State of New York, and whose purposeful endeavors as involved
members of the community serve to enhance the quality of life therein;
and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Lisa
Tenneson upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the Busi-
ness Person of the Year Award by the Schoharie County Chamber of
Commerce, to be celebrated at its Annual Business Celebration Dinner and
Awards Ceremony on Friday, April 1, 2016, at Caverns Place, Howes Cave,
New York; and
WHEREAS, The Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce is proud to recog-
nize Lisa Tenneson for her contributions to the local economy, to the
goals of the Chamber, and to the quality of life in Schoharie County;
and
WHEREAS, Lisa Tenneson has been the Sole Proprietor of Four Star Real-
ty Group since 2014; located in Middleburgh, New York, this vital busi-
ness serves Albany, Schoharie and Greene Counties; and
WHEREAS, This esteemed woman has 25 years of experience in customer
service, exceptional negotiating skills, and is especially knowledgeable
of the tri-county area she serves; and
WHEREAS, A resident of Schoharie County with a steadfast and unwaver-
ing commitment to her community, Lisa Tenneson is currently a member of
the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce and the Middleburgh Area Busi-
ness Association; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Lisa Tenneson takes a very active role in commu-
nity events such as 1st Fridays, Miracle on Main Street, and contribut-
ing to Chamber events by offering free children's activities; she is
also a sponsor of the Becker Race Team and other local sports organiza-
tions; and
WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Lisa Tenneson has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an individ-
ual for the benefit of others which Lisa Tenneson has displayed through-
out her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Lisa Tenneson upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the Business Person of the Year Award by the Schoharie County Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Lisa Tenneson.
